  FRYING PAN RECIPES - WITH LESS OIL  


FRIED ZUCCHINI


INGREDIENTS:

1. Small to Medium zucchini Sliced to 1/4 (6mm) to 5/16(8mm) inch thick

2. 1/4 cup(60g) Corn Flour & 1/4 cup Unbleached Flour

3. One Egg

4. One cup Bread Crumbs

5. A Sprinkle of Salt

OPTIONAL: Shredded Parmesan cheese


INSTRUCTIONS:


Step 1. Three small bowls.
        Bowl #1: Add the Corn & Wheat Flour in the bowl & Mix
        Bowl #2: blend the egg with an egg beater or mixer
        Bowl #3: Add Bread crumbs (It Helps to have the bowls in a row)

Step 2. cover both sides of the Zucchini slices in Each Bowl from Bowl 1 to 3

Step 3. Spray the pan and Zucchini on a cookie sheet or similar with cooking oil as needed. Then place the slices in the frying pan.

SPRAY the Zucchini with a "Cooking Water Sprayer " (See Images Below) as needed to keep it from drying out.

Step 4. Heat a non-stick frying pan to over 180℉(82 ℃) degrees

Step 5. Set the stove burner to a "Medium" heat and cook until it looks like is it ready to turn over. This is a bit tricky to get it golden brown.

NOTE: If Parmesan Cheese is used sprinkle it on the Zucchini while in the pan cooking.

One can stick a fork into the Zucchini to see if it is done. When it is ready it will be golden brown and the fork will go in without resistance.

OPEN FACE OMELET with diced ROASTED BELL PEPPER



INGREDIENTS:

2 EGGS

1 Tablespoon DICED ROASTED BELL PEPPER

3 Tablespoons (45ml) of Almond Milk or Milk

OPTIONAL: TWO EGGS - ONE YOLK or TWO EGG WHITES



INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1. Crack the eggs in a deep bowl

Step 2. Add the Almond Milk & Blend the eggs with an "electric mixer for a few seconds" or a whisk

Step 3. Heat a non-stick frying pan to over 150℉(66 ℃) degrees

Step 4. Pour the egg mix into the pan. Set the stove burner to a "LOW" heat and cook until it looks like is it ready to turn over. This is a bit tricky to get it just right.

If one has a rough time getting it right; they can use the turner to cut the egg mix into pieces and make scrambled eggs instead.


FRIED CHICKEN & SPAGHETTI


THIS RECIPE IS EASY TO MAKE.


INGREDIENTS:

BANZA CHICKPEA SPAGHETTI - Walmart

1. 3 Ounces(85g) of Ground Chicken or Turkey

2 About 4 OZs(113g) (1/2 cup) of "cooked" chickpea (or) Wheat spaghetti

3. Extra Virgin Olive Oil


INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Fill a medium size sauce pan with water about 3/4 full

2. Bring the water to a rolling boil and add the pasta, then stir frequently for about 18 minutes or until a desired texture.

3. Put a healthy drizzle of olive oil in a non-stick frying pan and turn to a low to medium heat. Fry until a golden brown turning the chicken spaghetti over as needed until it is golden brown.

NOTE: It does not all have to be golden brown which would be difficult to do without burning it.
