MARY, MY WIFE'S PAGE
MARY - I MISS YOU SO MUCH
I WISH SHE COULD COME HOME, But she is in a nursing home with no hope of ever coming HOME.
MARY - 21 years old
When I started writing The Construction Prison Novel, little did I know that my wife Mary started to draw and write too. I knew all along she had a gift for Folk Art. That is one of the reasons I became a fan of Folk Art. It is bare bones reality. After she went to a nursing home, I found a lot of her writing and thought it would be crass if I did not include them in Life Over 56 as a special page for her accomplishments.

MARY'S BADLY WATER DAMAGED DRAWING
MARY WROTE THIS September 4, 2007
IT WAS BADLY WATER DAMAGED. I FIXED THE BEST I COULD Mary's love for her children has never diminished as she began to experience symptoms that I did not realize were symptoms. She was having trouble remembering around the time she wrote this and said, "What's the matter with me." At the time, I did not realize her memory was starting to decline, but I now think she knew it. I, myself, know my memory is starting to decline, she knew it back then. However, my memory will come back a few minutes later, but it is still a memory decline. According to what the doctor said, "Her memory does not come back. Thoughts of the moment are gone forever."
